Walking Meditation 1 – Steps into the Future


“In traditional Buddhist teachings, there are four meditation postures: sitting, walking, standing and lying down. All four are sound methods for developing clear and calm awareness of the present moment and can be used to create future purpose. The goal of walking meditation is to train the mind to stay present while the body is in motion. Every step is taken in freedom, peace, health, joy and self-liberation.

At the beginning of each affirmation, you stand still and become heart-centered. Then you open your eyes, look at the endless horizon and take the step into your future; you create the experience here and now.”
